ALTERNATE ENDINGS

He found the diary under the bed.
Jess was in Annie's hotel room, virtually destroying the room. The lamp lay on the floor, it's fake crystal shell in pieces scattered across beer and blood-stained carpet. The mattress to the double bed was turned upside down, huge chunks cut open with Jess' switch-blade.
He read the final entry his soon-to be ex-wife wrote. Almost all of it was about how abusive Jess was to her.. How she couldn't she'd stayed with him all these years. And how horrible, even on their first date, he was to her, by making her have sex with him in the car in her parents driveway. She never knew what love was until she met Eric.
The door to the hotel room swung open.
Jess looked up. He saw the double barrel of a shotgun The blast from both barrels sent Jess hurtling backwards across the bed springs.
Eric appeared around the corner. Then Annie peeked inside, eyes wide, hand covering her quivering mouth. Eric sighed.
“Shit,” He said. “How are we going to get rid of the body?”

Annie appeared around the corner of the bathroom. Then Eric peeked from inside the bathroom, eyes wide, hand covering his quivering mouth. Annie sighed.
Eric's ex-wife lay on the blood soaked bed. The lamp lay on the floor, it's fake crystal shell lay in pieces scattered across beer and blood-stained carpet. The mattress to the double bed was turned upside down, huge chunks cut open with Jess' switch-blade. Jess was in Annie's hotel room, virtually destroying the room. The double barrel of a shotgun was held tightly in Eric's ex-wife's hands.
An open suit case with six large stacks of money sat in inside it. Eric zipped up the suit case and walked to the door. Annie followed, kissed Eric, touched his cheek with a hand. She crossed the room and took Jess by the hand and eased him to a standing position. She kissed him and gently pulled him toward the door. With her other hand, Annie took Jess' hand and they all three walked out the hotel room.
“Shit,” Jess said. “ How are we going to get rid of the body?”
